Charity Christmas tree recycling service returns

St Teresa’s Hospice is teaming up with the Rotary Club of Darlington for their annual Christmas tree recycling service in Darlington and Newton Aycliffe.

On Saturday, January 5th, 2019, volunteers from the two charities will visit homes in the area to collect and dispose of their Christmas trees for a donation of £5 per tree.

Those wanting to benefit from the service have until midday on Thursday, January 3rd, 2018 to book their tree for collection.

To find out more about the service or to sign up, visit the St Teresa’s Hospice website.

Alternatively, Christmas trees can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre on Whessoe Road.
