Darlington By The Sea: Pop-up beach returns to the Market Square

Grab your bucket and spade, as Darlington By The Sea returns to the Market Square later this month.

The popular family event surfs back into town from Thursday, July 25th, 2019 until Saturday, July 27th, 2019.

Between 11am and 5pm, families can take part in a range of activities including sandcastle building, face painting, balloon modelling, clowns Dot and Zooky, circus skills with Tom Rolf, bubble show and more.

Organised by Darlington Borough Council and sponsored by local bus service Arriva, the Darlington by the Sea event will see 40 tonnes of sand in the Market Square to form a beach area miles away from the sea.
