Darlington Libraries – Summer Activity Programme

Over the summer, Darlington Libraries is holding a series of events and workshops for children, as part of the Summer Activity Programme.

The programme, which launches on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017, will take place at Crown Street Library and Cockerton Library until Saturday, August 26th, 2017.

The Summer Activity Programme also includes the Summer Reading Challenge, which helps to improve children’s reading skills and confidence during the holidays and rewards them along the way.

To complete the challenge, children need to visit Crown Street Library or Cockerton Library three times over the summer period and borrow books to read.

Further information about the Summer Activity Programme and the Summer Reading Challenge can be found on the Darlington Libraries website.
