Forsyth House in Darlington is set to receive a major overhaul following a six-figure investment from its owners.
The three-storey office block, which is situated on Woodlands Road, will undergo a refurbishment after its owners, Kans and Kandy Properties, made the decision to renovate the property.
Originally constructed in the 1960s, the building, which was formerly a Regus centre, is currently occupied by NHS and Bupa Dental on the lower floors of the property.
Meanwhile, the upper floors house serviced offices ranging from 300 to 1500 sq ft.
Peter Razaq, director of Kans and Kandy, said: “This property is in a great location with Darlington town centre lying just 100 metres to the east providing excellent amenities for occupiers.
“I am confident the proposed works will vastly improve the building’s attractiveness to the market as well as creating a better place to work for the existing occupiers.”
The refurbishment of Forsyth House will be carried out by chartered surveyor Silverstone Building Consultancy.
Ben Hunter, director at Silverstone Building Consultancy, added: “We are delighted to have been instructed on this refurbishment project.
“The investment in the premises will not only lower the building’s U-Value by reducing the level of heat loss, but it will also transform it from a dated 60s building to more modern, desirable office space which will be aesthetically much more appealing to current and future occupiers.”
