Rattech

Rattech

Crawling from the sewers of Sunderland, Rattech is one to watch in 2018. This rodent has grown his tail as a resident DJ for the Haze Records collective, producing a number of heavyweight tracks supported by a vast range of producers across the electronic music scene, from Mark Jenkins, Max Chapman and Riva Starr to Detlef, De la Swing and Robert Owens.

Rattch’s first release ‘Drop the Bomb’ landing on Under No Illusions Recordings ADE sampler 2017 saw support from Marco Carola – dropping the track during his biggest set of the summer at Music On Closing party. Latmun’s ‘Secret Weapons Beatport Chart’ also included the rodents release alongside Jamie Jones and Matthias Tanzmann, setting the bar for productions to come in 2018.

Having toured the UK, USA and Europe in 2017 and following through with a busy agenda into 2018 Rattech hopes to spread and reproduce his sound across the globe invading dance floors with infectious sets.

This & That

From their first B2B on The WorkHOUSE radio show in November 2016, getting on the decks has always been easy for these two. They started off simply DJing from party-to-party but in March 2017 Borna and Lewis swiftly established a duo and created their name: This & That. They began playing in their local home town, Darlington but have managed to smash various places in the North East such as Leed and Stockton.

They have featured in the same line up for many big name headliners such as: Rich Wakley, Lee Walker, Sidney Charles, Andy Lee, Riva Starr, Jacky, Leftwing & Kody, Truth Be Told, Latmun, Matt McLarrie, Bontan, Camelphat and Ali O’Sullivan for events such as Ruckus, Solar Knights and Concept. They currently host their own night at Illusion, Darlington. On top of that, they hold two residencies at Concept and Underground Sessions. Their passion for underground house & techno is demonstrated through the enthusiasm they bring to the crowd. Watch this space.

Digit N’ Kemp

The term ‘up-and-coming’ could not be used more appropriately than to describe Darlington DJ DUO and producer DigitnKemp’. With a few years of Djing under there belt, they have quickly learnt how to make people move and there confidence in the booth transpires to the crowd as well as promoters, who have invited them to play at respected parties and venues accross the North East.

Their local popularity along with there ever-improving original productions tip them to become something bigger, there debut EP turned a few heads. With a lot more in the pipeline, their USBs are some of the most converted in the area and feature plenty of secret weapons and unreleased gems that have graced the same sound systems as DJs such as Solardo, Mark Jenkyns, Pirate Copy, Pete Zorba, Dennis Cruz, Anotr, Micheal bibi, Wade, Mason Maynard, Eli Brown, System 2, Elliot Adamson and many more. as well as more intimate set-ups where they have provided the soundtrack to many special moments only found at after parties.

With there unique vibe behind the decks these boys have been noticed wide making their recent debut at Kaluki. It’s fair to say these two are definitely not afraid of letting out the stops, DIGITnKEMP are happy to turn up the heat and will be surely a show to witness in time to come.
