Summer may have come to an end, but the events in Darlington keep on coming as September brings two music festivals, the Darlington Honey Show and a series of Heritage Open Days.

Last Train Home

Date: September 7th 2019

Last Train Home

Last Train Home is a one-day music and comedy festival being held in the Bank Top area of Darlington on Saturday, September 7th, 2019.

Organised by Tracks Darlington in conjunction with Creative Darlington and Hilarity Bites, the festival will see music and comedy acts performing in a number of venues around the train station.

Darlington R&B Festival

Date: September 13th – 15th 2019

Darlington R&B Festival

The Darlington Rhythm & Blues Festival returns to Darlington town centre from Friday, September 13th, 2019 until Sunday, September 15th, 2019.

Organised by the Darlington RnB Club in conjunction with Darlington Borough Council and Gasto Promotions, the family-friendly festival takes place in a number of venues across the town, including the Market Square, The Pennyweight and The Quakerhouse.

Heritage Open Days

Heritage Open Days

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,000 organisations, 5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers.

Every year in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history, including venues across Darlington.

Basshunter

Date: September 20th 2019
Venue: Harvey’s Late Bar

Basshunter is the ultimate bass creator and one of the world’s most in-demand commercial dance artists.

Jonas Erik Altberg, better known by his stage name Basshunter, is a Swedish singer, record producer and DJ.

He is best known for his hits, “All I Ever Wanted”, “Now You’re Gone” and “Angel of the Night”.

Darlington Honey Show

Darlington Honey Show

The Darlington Beekeepers Association hold their first Darlington Honey Show in the Market Hall.

The beekeepers will come together to showcase the produce from their local hives, honey tasting, information and activities.
