The show, which begins on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017, will be the first production at the newly-restored Darlington Hippodrome.
Julian Cound, the current chairman of Darlington Operatic Society, said: “Every member of Darlington Operatic Society feels so honoured to be given this fantastic opportunity to be the first to perform at the Darlington Hippodrome.
“The venue holds a special place in our hearts, so much so that we all like to call it ‘home’.
“We are even more delighted to see that ticket sales for ‘Strictly Musicals Two’ are breaking all records.
Cound continued: “I’m sure that many people will have purchased tickets just to be one of the first to get inside the venue to see the transformation that has taken place over the last 18 months.
“I can guarantee everyone will be excited and amazed by the new venue but will also be totally blown away with what we have to offer with Strictly.”
“Strictly Musicals Two” features some of the best known songs from some of the best loved musicals of all time, including “Mamma Mia”, “Wicked”, “Top Hat”, “Chicago”, Jersey Boys”, “Joseph” and more.
