Search is on for local talent to perform at world’s first pop-up theatre

The search is on for local talent to perform at Roundabout – the world’s first pop-up, plug-and-play theatre.

The theatre, which flatpacks into a lorry, will be popping up in Darlington’s Market Square from Thursday, October 5th, 2017 until Sunday, October 8th, 2017, as part of Darlington Theatre Town.

On the final day, between 2pm and 4pm, the Roundabout will be hosting a special event showcasing some of the talented folks of Darlington.

Organisers are looking for spoken word and acoustic music performers (aged 14 years or over) to appear at the showcase.

Their acts should last no more than ten minutes in length and must be suitable for a family audience.
