Following a nerve-shattering victory over Colombia, England have progressed to the quarter finals of the World Cup where they will face Sweden on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at 3pm.
Thousands of hopeful fans will be out in force across Darlington to see if Gareth Southgate’s side can go progress to the semi-finals – a feat the Three Lions last achieved in 1990.

The summer weather is set to continue over the weekend, so Avalon is opening up its terrace for the quarter final tie, complete with a BBQ, drink offers and live music.
Entry is free, although this is a ticketed event. Tickets can be obtained by sending the page a message on Facebook.
The Darlington Flyer on Skinnergate has numerous big screen televisions showing the match, as well as numerous drinks offers.
Hash will be showing England vs. Sweden on the terrace, on the big screen in the upstairs bar and downstairs via a projector.
Rocket Town Brewhouse
Rocket Town Brewhouse has televisions both inside and outside displaying the game and is also running a competition to win a £30 bar tab.
Seen Darlington will be showing the action on two giant screens and offering £2 pints with a free bag of crisps. There will also be a BBQ on the terrace.
The Forum Music Centre
The Forum Music Centre is showing the game on their big screen. Drink offers include 4 pint pitchers starting from £10 and three bottles for £6.
